Daily Devotional for May 29, 2021

I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. Romans 8:18

This morning Joel Osteen says, “A difficult, dark time in your life doesn’t have to keep you from your destiny. Actually, it can do just the opposite. It can propel you into your destiny.” I am a walking testimony of this today. During the darkest time in my life, on the onset I thought I would die—not having my kids with me each day BEcause of separation and divorce, moving into a home alone, the loss of my dad, and BEing diagnosed with a medical condition. Within that little window of time of only a few months, I couldn’t BElieve God would allow such pain. But He has worked all of it for my good. It made me stronger and wiser in my faith, for I had to trust Him with every aspect of my life. And BEcause of what I went T.H.R.O.U.G.H. (Trials, Hurt, Regrets, Obstacles, Uncertainty, Guilt, Heartbreak), allowing the manure to fertilize me, I am now living the dreams I once prayed. We must go through for our breakthrough and know that He will work everything in our favor, according to His purpose and plan.

Acts 23

As Paul spoke in Acts 23:1, each day may we BE able to say, “...I have fulfilled my duty to God in all good conscience to this day.”. All that we are and all that we do, may we focus it all unto the Lord.

REflection from Starting Your Day Right Devotional

Joyce Meyer REminds us this morning that forgiveness is for you and me, and new BEginnings are too when we are in Christ. She is quoted as saying, “There is always a place of forgiveness and a new beginning in Christ. When we have a new beginning with Christ, we don't have to mourn over the past. We just have to repent and go on.” We don’t have to wallow in worry. We can take everything to God in prayer and let it go. God is a God of another chance, and He is there with grace and mercy to allow us to BEgin again.

Isaiah 40:29
