Daily Devotional for May 28, 2021
The person who wins out over the world’s ways is simply the one who believes Jesus is the Son of God. 1 John 5:4 MSG
Today’s devotional lifts up 1 John 5:4, which REads: “The person who wins out over the world’s ways is simply the one who believes Jesus is the Son of God.” Osteen speaks about how we approach life today in addition to perspective. He encourages us to REmember “God wouldn’t have allowed it unless He had a purpose.” Know there is purpose in our pain— growing pains. It also takes pressure to create a diamond. Know that you are one of God’s must precious gems—trust the process.
Acts 22
Like Paul, in Acts 22:14-15, “The God of our ancestors has chosen you to know his will and to see the Righteous One and to hear words from his mouth. You will be his witness to all people of what you have seen and heard.” Let us never be ashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
REflection from Starting Your Day Right Devotional
Joyce Meyer speaks to the importance of BEing confident in ourselves. She says, “When you get that confidence of knowing God and His purpose for your life, you will not be affected by the judgments or criticisms of other people.” She goes further to encourage us to speak life over ourselves saying, "Nothing that happens today can separate me from God's love and His purpose for my life." Let us know that and BElieve it, for everything is working for our good.
Colossians 3:12
May our daily lives BE an outward manifestation of what others cannot see of what God is doing internally for you and me. 🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
Favor from faithfulness to the Father is upon you this Friday, my friend.
