Daily Devotional for May 27, 2021

But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians 15:57

As we travel along life’s JOurney, odds may BE stacked against us, but we have to keep the mindset that God is always with us. Osteen speaks about the importance of our mental state, encouraging us not to have a victim mentality but a victor mentality. He says, “Just because something is unfair doesn’t mean that God doesn’t still have an amazing future in front of you.” You can beat the odds! I did. Experiencing four of the five most stressful events in life strengthened my faith and now the prayers I once prayed I’m living. Keep the faith, my friend.

Acts 21

Even through adversity, may we strive to have the same conviction as Paul in Acts 21:13 who was ready not only to be bound, but also to die in Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.

REflection from Starting Your Day Right Devotional

Joyce Meyer’s devotional aligns with the others this morning. She says, “Understand that the mind is a battlefield. If you don't stop Satan when he gets into your thoughts, you are not going to stop him from getting into your life.“ Let us REmain focused mentally and keep our thoughts on the fruit of the Spirit—love, JOY, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control— no matter what comes our way.

John 3:17

Born to die: He didn’t have a chance so that you and I would have a chance. 🙏🏽💚🦋🌈

Trample your trials to BE triumphant this Thursday, my friend.
