Let us keep BElieving and BEcoming who He is calling us and preparing us to BE
“For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.” Luke 19:10
In life, we all feel small or insignificant at some time. Today’s devotional from “Daily Strength for Women” says, “When our bodies are tired and our spirits match, it is easy to look at the great big world and feel very small…. Little people have great value to Jesus…. Jesus came for all. He is our salvation and significance. Little people with a great God have a divine purpose.“ We must REmember that it rains on the just and the unjust, we are of flesh and will have trials, tribulations, and just days where we feel insignificant. Yet we can hold fast to that children’s song that is a great REminder during those times: “Jesus loves the little children, all the children of the world. Red and yellow, black and white, they are precious in His sight. Jesus loves the little children of the world.” We are “they” and He loves us just as we are each and every day, unconditionally.
REflection from While We are Waiting by Leading and Loving It
The final message in the series “While We Wait” is penned by both Jenny Clayville and Liz Sarno. Their final message speaks to discovering the promise in the process of waiting which keeps us anchored. The message says, “Even when you can’t understand the promise or can’t see how it will come to pass, you can hold on to the Promiser. You can have faith in knowing that the One who made a promise to you will be faithful to see that promise come to pass in your life.“ They go on to say, “It isn’t easy to wait for something, but you can allow the time to refine you. The waiting can reveal your weakness, but that’s a good thing because that’s where you find your strength….The process helps you clearly see the things you need to adjust and change to help you become a better version of yourself.” REmember, when we are weak, He is strong. We surrender in our weakness to let go and let God have His way in our lives. God is continuing to shape and mold us each day into who we are BEcoming. Trust the process.
