God is always waiting and welcoming you and me to REceive what He has in store for our destiny
“Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.” Hebrews 4:16 NIV
“To succeed in life, our confidence must come from a firm trust in Jesus Christ, what he did for us on the cross, and how he continues to intercede for us. Our confidence does not come from our own power, but from Christ-given power. Walk into every situation today knowing that you have immediate, VIP access to the throne of God, and there is an abundant warehouse of grace and mercy waiting for you.” Those are the words provided from today’s devotional in “Daily Strength for Women”. Today is a new day with new BEginnings, new blessings, new mercies, and new opportunities. Let us not walk in just our confidence in ourselves, but walk in the GODfidence knowing all that God has done and is able to do in our lives if we keep the faith and trust in His ways.
Mark 4
Let us REmember the parable of the sower as spoken by Jesus, as we go about our lives. “‘The farmer sows the word. Some people are like seed along the path, where the word is sown. As soon as they hear it, Satan comes and takes away the word that was sown in them. Others, like seed sown on rocky places, hear the word and at once receive it with joy. But since they have no root, they last only a short time. When trouble or persecution comes because of the word, they quickly fall away. Still others, like seed sown among thorns, hear the word; but the worries of this life, the deceitfulness of wealth and the desires for other things come in and choke the word, making it unfruitful. Others, like seed sown on good soil, hear the word, accept it, and produce a crop—some thirty, some sixty, some a hundred times what was sown’” (Mark 4:14-20).
Reflection from CLT ALT Delete: Resetting Our Heartware
In the final message from “CLT ALT Delete” we are REminded that we can always “Come Home Again” to Christ. The text says, “Unlike the Israelites, we may not have lost our physical homes or land. But the drift of our relationship with God may take on a different appearance. Perhaps there was a time when God graciously placed a specific burden in our hearts or clearly directed us to serve in a particular way. But we may have gotten too busy, distracted or simply drifted so far that we lost sight of our relationship with Him. Perhaps we have been hoping for a revival in our family, workplace, or ministry for the longest time but have lost heart, or even worse lost our faith in God, over time.” No matter the situation or circumstance, no matter how near or how far, and no matter the amount of time that has kept us or distracted us from Christ, our Father always welcomes us with open arms.
