Work well and celebrate your daily deeds

“My dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.” 1 Corinthians 15:8.

I had to reset this summer at work and remind myself to focus on Colossians 3:21, which says to work unto the Lord and not unto man, but this morning’s devotional provides me with another important scripture to keep in mind as I continue along my career. Todays message, “Labor in the Lord” says, “Christians are to give themselves fully to their calling. Embrace the work the Lord calls us to and understand that it holds eternal importance.” The work that we do is not just for earthly impact, so hold fast to 1 Corinthians 15:8, which reads, “My dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.”

Reflection from 7 Steps to Renewing Your Mind

Step six of “7 Steps to Renew Your Mind” encourages us to “Celebrate the process”. The writer says, “It is going to take time to see change in your mind. I think there is a reason why God took six days to create the world instead of one day. He wanted to show us how to go through the process of change. Each day something great was done and God would end the day by celebrating what was done, instead of complaining about what was still not done.” The emphasis is on what He had done, even though there was more to do each day. Our Father looked around and took account of even the smallest detail and realized it was good. Never forget what you have done, for even the smallest task is significant in your accomplishments and should be remembered, embraced, celebrated, and appreciated.

No matter the need or situation, our Father shines for us to see and provides with guidance and safety.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈

Work well and celebrate your daily deeds, my friend.
