May we grow stronger each day as we walk with Christ

It’s refreshing to know that we have “Victory in Christ”, which is the title of today’s message. It says, “Through all of life's trials and the deception of others, we are given the promise that Jesus' grace will be with us. All the calamity and lies of the world cannot derail us from following Christ when we have been given the gifts of grace, peace, and truth.“ I was speaking to my dearest friend and my counselor the other day, talking about seasons. We all have our own, but I had to remind myself that the summer tends to begin my season of harvest. The winter months are truly dry and dark, mostly with more challenges. Yet even through those times God keeps me and provides. We never lose when Christ is on our side; for even when we lose we win. Keep the perspective; it’s all a lesson.

Reflection from 7 Steps to Renew Your Mind

Our fifth step of “7 Steps to Renew Your Mind” says, “‘Resist negative thoughts, assist positive thoughts.’ Positive thoughts are not going to stay, they need to be assisted. Negative thoughts are not going to leave, they need to be resisted.” Growth in Christ and renewing our minds is strength training of it’s own. Resistance helps to strengthen our minds, going against what’s negative requires us to seek the positive to cancel the negative out. May we continue to capture every thought, and focus on what Christ says and not be distracted by the enemy’s ways.

May we work to stay humble, calling on the Lord and praying to turn from wicked ways, and seeking restoration each day.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
