Daily Devotional for June 14, 2021
God is our refuge and strength [mighty and impenetrable], a very present and well-proved help in trouble. Psalm 46:1 AMP
Change is inevitable, and after around three years I am finally able to understand just what Joel Osteen speaks to this morning. He says, “Don’t be surprised if you face extraordinary challenges. It’s because you have an extraordinary destiny. God is getting you prepared for greater blessings than you can imagine.“ The enemy not only knows this, but he can see it looking back over our lives. As Drake says, “Started from the bottom now I’m here.” REmember the enemy has BEen along for the ride, BEcause he’s BEen the distraction, working to keep us from REmaining forward, focused, and following in faith (and not fear) and favor. However, we have persevered through, and REalize that our later will continue to BE greater, and our BEst is yet to come. Thieves don’t break into empty houses. Your body is a temple—don’t ever forget your worth nor God’s promises He will fulfill for your life.
Genesis 11
We find in Genesis 11 with the Tower of Babel, God is not a god of confusion, but if something is not of Him, it will BE destroyed. We don’t ever have to wonder when we are living for Christ; He will REmove things or work things for our good according to His perfect plan.
REflection from All Things Are Possible
I was so encouraged by Joyce Meyer’s last series, that I had to find another to continue with today. This morning we BEgin “All Things Are Possible.” In today’s message Meyer gives us another scripture to keep us focused on God’s plan and His timing for our lives. She says, “Hebrews 6:12 says that you’ll inherit all of God’s promises through faith and patience. So no matter how long it takes for your dreams and desires to be fulfilled, be determined to trust God and pass the test of faith!” Take an assessment today. For those of you who completed EGOcentric canvases with me, and for others who may have set goals for this year, have you taken an opportunity to look back over your life to see what has come to manifest or momentum gained? If not, take some time now as we approach mid year. What God has begun He will bring to completion (Philippians 1:6). REflect, but don’t REvert, to see where He’s brought you from and REmain REady for where He’s taking you.
Psalm 91:1
He’s the ultimate protector, never wavering when we are weary. On Him we can always depend.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
Make moves and momentum this Monday, my friend.
