Stretch your faith today for this leg of your race

“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” 2 Timothy 4:7

2 Timothy 4:7 is highlighted this morning with Osteen’s message. It REads, “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” There are many races we have and will run in this life, and overall life is a marathon for us. As we go through it at different timeframes we have races that we must finish. As we race though, there is nothing like those friends in faith to BE with us along the way, cheering us on, and most importantly, praying. Last night I had the opportunity to have dinner with one of the strongest people I know who has and continues to fight the good fight. She has experienced unfathomable loss and continues to stand as a pillar of strength for others to see, but most importantly, for herself. I’m grateful I had the chance to sit with her face to face for the first time in a long time to tell her.

Let us take some time to share with our friends in faith that we see them, we love them, BElieve in them, and we are here for them as we all continue along life’s JOurneY.

Judges 21

As we continue along our races in life, as written in Judges 21:25, may we do that which is right in our own eyes, not worrying about the thoughts of others. For as written by Dr. Seuss, those who matter don’t mind, and those who mind don’t matter.

REflection from Promises for Your Everyday Life

This week I have spoken to many about perspective and REmembering what you have already accomplished. I spoke to others in hopes that I would REmember and take my own advice. This morning Joyce Meyer speaks to “Remembering Past Successes”. She says, “To be honest, a lot of us are negative thinkers when we find ourselves in challenging situations. But to move past trying times, you have to take your negative thoughts and turn them into positive thoughts… Being positive is powerful. And a big part of being positive is simply reminding yourself of your past successes.“ When you feel your mind focusing in on the negative, take time to capture every thought and cancel out that negative, REmembering what you have accomplished. If you did it BEfore, you will do it again. You are where you are based upon what you’ve already done, not what you will do.

Luke 6:27-28

May we learn to love and give freely, especially to those who come against us. May we kill others with kindness and not conflict.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈

Stretch your faith today for this leg of your race, my friend.
