Step into your season

“So you see, the Lord knows how to rescue godly people from their trials…” 2 Peter 2:9

Do you ever feel like you just need to BE REscued? Sometimes we allow the life we live to get the BEst of us, whether we BEcome consumed with all that we have to manage with work and life, or BEing overwhelmed by the trials of life. REgardless, our Father is our great escape. The message from Osteen today highlights 2 Peter 2:9 which REads, “So you see, the Lord knows how to rescue godly people from their trials…”. We never have to wonder when we’re going T.H.R.O.U.G.H. (Trials, Hurt, Regrets, Obstacles, Uncertainty, Guilt, Heartbreak) when it all will end. Our Father knows what we need, how much we can bear, and when we are on the verge of a breakthrough—those things are not up to me and you. However, our Father is always there in His perfect timing for our REscue.

2 Samuel 1

As we REmain forward, focused, and following in faith (and not fear) and favor, may we BE like Saul and Jonathan in 2 Samuel 1:23, swifter than eagles and stronger than lions.

REflection from Promises for Your Everyday Life

If you are going through a storm, let the storm subside. This morning Joyce Meyer says, “If I have learned anything about weathering storms, it has been that they don't last forever, and I don't need to make major decisions in the midst of them.” She goes on to say, “Thoughts and feelings run wild in the midst of crises, but those are exactly the times we need to be careful about making decisions. I often say to myself, ‘Let emotions subside before you decide.’” Let us REmember that worry ends where faith BEgins. Perspective (as the lyrics in the song by Somebody Bigger Than You and I): Who made the mountains? Who made the trees? Who made the rivers flow to the sea? And who sends the rain when the earth is dry? Somebody bigger than you and I.

That we cannot deny, so in Him we must REly. Trust even in the storms He will carry us on. He’s not our co-pilot; He is the pilot. Trust His will, His way, His course, and His timing.

1 John 2:6

He is the example, so let us BE at least a sample REpresentation of Him. 🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
