Comfort and confidence is always found in Christ

“Be cheerful with joyous celebration in every season of life. Let joy overflow, for you are united with the Anointed One!” Philippians 4:4

This morning’s devotional is so timely, due to this loss I have experienced. The message from “Daily Strength for Women” says, “True joy is so much more than mere happiness. As Christans, we rejoice because of the hope we have in Jesus. There will come a day when all our suffering and sorrows will be wiped away…. Understanding this powerful truth should fill us with a continual joy that is more real than our circumstances. Death is different, yet our Father makes no mistakes and He’s stronger and bigger with a purpose for all that He does. May we work to focus on His unspeakable JOY that is available to us in every situation. Let us REjoice at this time knowing my loved one, your loved ones are in a better place. Let us REjoice in knowing struggles and troubles won’t last. As written in Philippians 4:4, “Be cheerful with joyous celebration in every season of life. Let joy overflow, for you are united with the Anointed One!”
