Daily Devotional for September 18, 2020

“Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me. But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” (2 Corinthians‬ ‭12:8-9‬)

Sometimes I feel like I should record the conversations I have with my sister, Michelle, because I’m amazed at how (many times) the next day the devotional(s) align providing confirmation. Just last night we talked about how God works everything out for us if we just leave everything in His hands. From the simplest things to those complex, He can and will handle, and He can and will make a way. I love how Osteen stated, “I don’t want my way. I want His way.” That’s how I’m truly living. Had I continued to try to orchestrate my own life, I would still BE in a state of lifelessness, frustration, lack and defeat. Yet when I chose to let go and let God, He REstored the JOY, and as one of yesterday’s scripture’s said, I’m living in abundance of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control….” (Galatians 5:22‒23). And the best part, my later will still BE greater and my BEst is YET to come!

Deuteronomy 5

May we continuously strive to “walk in obedience to all that the Lord our God has commanded us, so that we may live and prosper and prolong our days in the land that we will possess.” (Deuteronomy‬ ‭5:33‬)

There truly is a secret to success, but it’s actually available to us all: faith, God’s Word, worship, gratitude, prayer and discipline, as outlined in today’s devotional by Jewish Voice Ministries International. When we do as prescribed in Romans 12:2 and REnew our minds and experience transformation, we will REap the harvest God has promised.

Romans 12:21

Let us kill off evil in this world with kindness, and REap what we sow, even to those who may come against us. 🙏🏽💚🦋🌈

Faith first in the Father and everything will follow this Friday, my friend.
