Daily Devotional for December 1, 2020

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. 2 Timothy‬ ‭4:7

‬ Here we are on the first day of December, and the last month of this year. Who would have ever thought we would experience a pandemic that would literally shut us down? Who would have ever imagined it would last this long? Though some challenges, frustration, and new normals arose, we are still standing, and we have one more month to keep fighting. Osteen REminds us this morning that God did not bring us this far to leave us. Let us BE of good courage. We have truly come this far by faith, so let us continue to fight a good fight, and finish the year strong, for our latter will BE greater and our BEst is yet to come.

Exodus 35

Exodus 35:10 states, “All who are skillful among you shall come and make all that the Lord has commanded...”. May we use our gifts and talents to work for the Lord. We shall not take lightly the smallest skill He has gifted us personally. Let us live out our passion and purpose for the upbuilding of His kingdom here on earth, for greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world (1 John 4:4).

REflection from Reset Your Mind: Overhauling Toxic Thoughts

A quote is provided by Priscilla Shirer in today’s devotional. It says, “Taking thoughts captive means controlling them instead of letting them control you.” We all have thoughts that can get the BEst of us, but as I heard from a speaker at a conference in 2019, “You can not heal until you REveal”. As I just told a group of my siSTARS on Sunday, if you can’t BE completely honest with yourself, you will never BE completely honest with anyone else. Let us get rid of the toxic waste in our minds. Let us face it—speak it if we have to, and then negate it with a positive perspective and prophetic passages from God’s word. REpetition of this will cause a RElease. Let go and let God, my brothers and sisters. Peace that surpasses all understanding and JOY of the Lord will BEcome your strength to carry you on.

Matthew 6:21

May we always take time to REassess our lives and ensure that wherever we place what we value most is of God, for whatever is of Him and from Him is a good and perfect gift of love. 🙏🏽💚🦋🌈

Give of your time, talents, and treasures this Tuesday, my friend.
