Daily Devotional for July 9, 2021
“As one whom his mother comforts, so I will comfort you; And you will be comforted in Jerusalem.” Isaiah 66:13 AMP
I love the title of Osteen’s devotional today: “Royalty in Your Blood”. Let us all know that our bloodline runs deep and is deeply rooted in Christ. No matter what we might BE going T.H.R.O.U.G.H. (Trials, Hurt, Regrets, Obstacles, Uncertainty, Guilt, Heartbreak) in the moment, it is not a monument. Change is inevitable and as the story continues today, the same thing God did for Mephibosheth, the same thing God has done for me, and the same thing He’s done for others, He’ll do for you. It’s a new day with new beginnings, new blessings, new mercies, and new opportunities. Don’t waste it on worrying about yesterday or tomorrow. Live in the moment—live THIS day.
Genesis 36
As a child I REmember singing, “Father Abraham has many sons, and many sons has Father Abraham…”, but we see from Genesis 36 and even some of the text before, Esau and others were just as fruitful and multiplied.
REflection from When God Speaks: What to Expect
Today’s message from “When God Speaks: What to Expect” gives us a trinity from the Trinity. Femi Monehin says, “What should you expect when God speaks to you? Firstly, as you are led by God’s Spirit, All Your Needs Will Be Met. Secondly, as you are led by God’s Spirit, Your Placement Will Be Strategic…Thirdly, as you are led by God’s Spirit, You Will Live A Righteous Life.” Don’t BElieve it? REflect for a moment on the 23 Psalm you have said all of your life. Have you just BEen REciting it or have you REceived it?
Isaiah 41:13
REceive the Lord’s touch with your right hand as He holds you, me, and everyone else in the palms of His hands. 🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
Fearless favored Friday, my friend.
