Daily Devotional for April 10, 2021
Take your everyday, ordinary life—your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life—and place it before God as an offering. Romans 12:1 MSG
Just last night (well actually this morning 😏) I was speaking about BEing at peace and living in the moment with no regrets with my dear siSTAR. We have BEen T.H.R.O.U.G.H. (Trials, Hurt, Regrets, Obstacles, Uncertainty, Guilt, Heartbreak) so much, yet God has shown us through our faithfulness (as she said) God loves blessing us. He wants to. He says He promises not to withhold any good thing but we must seek Him with our whole hearts, and that’s what we’ve done. Osteen’s message this morning is right in alignment as usual. because as he says, we’ve put our dreams on the alter. “God wants to see if you’ll trust Him when you don’t understand. And when He sees that you don’t have to have it, many times God will give you back what you were willing to give.” My friend REminded me, “We do this daily and now we get to live in His peaceful presence. What a gift?! We get to REap our harvest. What a blessing?! We get to do things we never imagined. What a miracle?!” As I continue to say, I’m living the dreams I once prayed. I am living my latter and my BEst is still yet to come.🙏🏽
Daniel 10
Last night, my siSTAR spoke about understanding how powerfully important our mindset is in life. The same words the Lord spoke to Daniel, in chapter 10 verse 12 are meant for us in this life and along our JOurneY. “He said, ‘Do not fear, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your mind to gain understanding and to humble yourself before your God, your words have been heard, and I have come because of your words’” (Daniel 10:12 NRSV). The Father heard, hears, and will hear our prayers. 🙏🏽
REflection from Peace for Your Mind, Hope for Your Heart
Today’s devotional from “Peace for Your Mind, Hope for Your Heart” truly shows that prayer is the answer to everything in this life. It says, “At different points and in different circumstances all of us come to a crisis of faith.... No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it” (1 Cor. 10:12–13). Just as the devotional explains, when we are going T.H.R.O.U.G.H. (Trials, Hurt, Regrets, Obstacles, Uncertainty, Guilt, Heartbreak) we desire God to change the situation, but in actuality, He works on us and through us. The author says, “He refocuses our attention on Him and His promises instead of our problems; He reminds us that He’s God and we’re not; and He gives us assurance that He’ll accomplish His purposes, but not necessarily ours.” Let us trust Him with every aspect of our lives, for His promise is to prosper us and not to harm us, for His plans are BEst.
Proverbs 29:25
With faith in the Lord we fear no (wo)man, for worry ends where faith BEgins. 🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
Stay so satisfied in the Savior this Saturday, my friend.
