Daily Devotional for April 9, 2021
And He said, “Do not lay your hand on the lad, or do anything to him; for now I know that you fear God…” Genesis 22:12 NKJV
We must commit to trust the Father with everything that He provides, no matter how long we may have or had to wait for the blessing. The Father knows and cares for what is BEst for our lives. May our actions speak louder than words in our faith walk so the Father as with Abraham in today’s devotional by Osteen, will one day say to us, “Now I can see you trust Me more than anything.” Let us continuously walk by faith and not by sight.
Daniel 9
As we travel along life’s JOurneY, may we not BE ashamed to cry out to the Father as in Daniel 9:19, “O Lord, hear; O Lord, forgive; O Lord, listen and act and do not delay...” (Daniel 9:19 NRSV). We need our Father in all that we do and in all we will BEcome in this life.
REflection from Peace for Your Heart, Hope for Your Mind
As we go through this life we will face some setbacks and difficulties, for it rains on the just and the unjust. However, as today’s devotional from “Peace for Your Heart, Hope for Your Mind” encourages us, we must know “God gives us peace as we think, but we need to focus on the right thoughts...accept grief (feel what we need to feel) (1 Peter 5:7); avoid knee-jerk blame; realize that the reason for your suffering can’t be that God doesn’t love you. (Rom 8:31-32); You have to fight for faith (2 Cor. 10:3-5); and Think about Jesus (Phil. 4:8-9).
1 Corinthians 13:13
The trinity (faith, hope, and love) is found in the Trinity (the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost), with love REigning supreme, for God is love. 🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
Faith frees us from fear as we follow the Father this Friday, my friend.
