Even in times of trouble and challenge, give your worries to God knowing all will be well

Sleepless Nights

Today’s message emphasizes that God longs to care for us and give us peace. The writer speaks about an individual who prays out loud when she can't sleep. She says, “My fight against worry is a spiritual battle and audible prayer is a key in winning the fight. I find rest from the burdens of life when I picture myself handing my worries to God—and asking Him to hold them until morning.” At night and when needed, let us focus on rest and give God our mess. My favorite saying is “worry ends where faith begins.” Worry doesn’t change a thing, but God can and will.

Psalm 4:8 reads, “I will lie down and sleep in peace, for you alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety.”

No matter what we are dealing with in life, let us give our worries and wants to God and rest knowing He will do what’s within His will for you and me.

Small Straws Scripture: Psalm 46:10

Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!

In all situations, and especially during times of challenge and change, pause (selah), and sit in quiet contemplation knowing that we are safe, secure, and in His good and perfect will for our lives, and He has the power and control of all things.

Youversion Verse of the Day: Galatians 6:9

And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

Life is about perspective: doing good will always reap good, and in Christ, better than good.

Even in times of trouble and challenge, give your worries to God knowing all will be well, my friend.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
