Fall back to move forward with the Father
“My flesh and my heart fail; But God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. Psalm 73:26
Today’s devotional posed a question: “Have you ever had a moment where you've felt completely out of control?” It then goes on to provide comfort to us saying, “In that moment, when control is lost and fear overcomes, there is one thing we can know for certain. He is our strength; God never loses control. When your life, and the outcome of it, is ripped from your hands, it's still resting firmly in his grasp. He is our portion. He is our ration. He is enough.” I don’t know what you are working to manage at this time, but I’m grateful for this reminder that our Father works overtime to protect and provide as He paces me along the course in life He’s prepared for me. I’m reminded this morning that worry ends where faith begins. May we not worry when things get out of control, for God is always ahead of us redirecting our course ahead for greater and growth, not harm and heartbreak.
Reflection from Be Still: A Quiet Guide to Quiet Times
“Hidden Perseverance” is the title of today’s message from “Be Still: A Simple Guide to Quiet Times”. The writer begins by saying, “We live in a world where there’s pressure to be seen.” But we are quickly reminded, “One of the necessary elements of a quiet time is that it is done in secret. It’s hidden.” We must still away at times, as with Elijah, in the place of hiddenness, we receive unusual provision from God. In hiddenness we learn to wait, exemplify perseverance, and don’t expect immediacy to resolve our concerns. The writer goes on to say, “Romans 12:2 instructs us: ‘Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.’” May we take time to remove ourselves from the forefront and renew our minds, bodies, and souls in God’s word. Fall back and focus to move forward.

It’s ok to feel what you need to feel when hurt or in pain; God provides comfort in every situation.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
Fall back to move forward with the Father, my friend.
