You are unbreakable

“We are like common clay jars that carry this glorious treasure within, so that the extraordinary overflow of power will be seen as God's, not ours.” 2 Corinthians 4:7

This morning’s message is titled “Treasure in Jars”. Those jars are us and so much is inside of us to share with the world. The writer says, “Jars of clay are delicate…. They are vulnerable to elements like heat and rain. We are jars of clay. Sometimes we embark on situations feeling like we are inadequate, incapable, and It doesn't matter what comes our way to fracture or shatter us; he makes us unbreakable. We remain intact and he gets the glory.“ We are always being shaped to our purpose through Him. Even though situations may get challenging and cause us to feel fragile, in Him we are never broken.

Reflection from Be Still: A Simple Guide to Quiet Times

The final message “Into the World” from the series “Be Still: A Simple Guide to Quiet Times”. It is often said that as we get older, we start to look more like our parents!” In this manner manner, we are to show the world through ourselves, our actions, and our deeds, a reflection of our Father who shapes and molds us to our purpose. The writer says, “In other words, what happens in the garden, shouldn’t stay in the garden—it should be visible in how we live. The more time we spend with God, the more we become like him; to some extent we become a reflection of him.” Take a look in the mirror—literally or figuratively—to ensure He is reflecting for others to see or come to know through you.
