Daily Devotional for March 18, 2021

“Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved by him, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly explaining the word of truth.” 2 Timothy‬ ‭2:15‬ ‭NRSV‬‬

Last night I had a conversation with my brother, and we talked about our jobs. I talked about the time and commitment I have put in over the past fifteen years, and how people have continuously stated I’m not qualified to do the work (of course from their perspective). Though I hold three degrees and I’m considered a subject matter expert, I know and BElieve that what’s most important is that God qualifies the called. And though people have talked about me and discredited my work, I have continued to support and REmain steadfast, trusting in God’s plan for me. In my professional life and personal life I have BEen slayed; from BEing called perfect to BEing chastised when trying support others.

Yet through it all, I know I have and will continue to BE REwarded. As the scripture highlighted with Osteen’s message this morning encourages, “Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved by him, a worker who has no need to be ashamed...” (2 Timothy‬ ‭2:15‬ ‭NRSV‬‬). Osteen goes on to say, “Recognize that what you’re facing is a test. If you’ll keep doing the right thing, God will get you to where you’re supposed to be”. So I will continue stand on the promises, knowing that God has something bigger and better plan for my life. I will REap the REward in His timing.

Hosea 11

Though we are of flesh and may stray, let us still walk with God, and be faithful to the Holy One (Hosea‬ ‭11:12‬ ‭NRSV‬‬).

REflection from Restoration: Deluxe Bible Plan

Everything God Ordains (E.G.O.). As I am wrapping up a project about REstoration, I just wrapped up the final day of Lecrae’s devotional series, and today’s message was entitled “Restored”. He stated, “I’ve been intentional to let you in on some of the struggles with faith I experienced and how they have shaped the music and the most recent years of my career.” Likewise, I pray that my project will do the same. Over the past few weeks I have contemplated as to whether or not I would truly bring it to fruition BEcause I have BEen in a fight with the enemy, but REmaining in faith, I’ve REceived my confirmation with today’s message. As Lecrae says, “We all have a testimony of Restoration because we all need the saving power of God in our lives. I am convinced to know God is to know restoration.” May my TESTimony through my daily devotionals BE encouragement to you, and I pray that along with my future project you and others will BE or seek REnewal or REstoration in Christ.

Let us give and do for others as freely as Christ gives and does for us. 🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
