Daily Devotional for March 17, 2021

“Prepare your work outside, get everything ready for you in the field; and after that build your house” (Proverbs‬ ‭24:27‬ ‭NRSV‬‬).

Have you changed? We have spent the last year in a pandemic. Are your the same person you were this time last year? Are you doing the same things? Thinking the same things? Osteen this morning speaks about how God uses the dark places to bring us into abundance. Even if not during the past year, can you see how your life has changed BEcause of the dark places? I can! And as Osteen tells of his father’s story, “During our dark times, we developed character; we proved to God that we would be faithful in the tough times.

The associated scripture says, “Prepare your work outside, get everything ready for you in the field; and after that build your house” (Proverbs‬ ‭24:27‬ ‭NRSV‬‬). This time last year I worked to prepare, developing my first EGOcentric Canvas, writing the vision and making it plain, working to manifest my desires and purpose in my life. Today I am truly a witness to what God can do, for I feel that I’m in an overflow season. He has and continues to truly Ephesians 3:20 my life, and I cannot wait to share my TESTimony in His appointed time. And what He’s done for me, I know He has done, is doing, or will do for you. Take a moment now to REflect to consider all of His goodness as a REsult of your dark places.

Hosea 10

My brothers and sisters we can only live our lives for ourselves. “Sow for yourselves righteousness; reap steadfast love; break up your fallow ground; for it is time to seek the Lord, that he may come and rain righteousness upon you” (Hosea‬ ‭10:12‬ ‭NRSV‬‬).

As Lecrae tells of his testimony this morning, I too, over the course of the last few years, I have grown confident again to do what God has called me to do, but this freedom only comes by delivery from Jesus. He focuses on one of his songs saying, “This song is a boast in the freedom of Christ. I’m celebrating the freedom from ego and the perceived criticisms of others.” Like me, it’s no longer about my little ego, but it’s about my big E.G.O. (Everything God Ordains) life.

Mark 16:15

May we go about life sharing and telling of His goodness. 🙏🏽💚🦋🌈

Welcome Him into your world this Wednesday, my friend.
