Focus on your joy in ‘24

“All who seek the Lord will praise him. Their hearts will rejoice with everlasting joy.” Psalm 22:26

So grateful to arise in my right mind and at peace for this first day of 2024. This year’s book of devotionals is titled “3-Minute Devotions for Women: Choose Joy”. I just remembered that I used another 3-Minute Devotions for Women when I began my JOurneY to restoration. This morning’s message “Joy in the Morning” starts with Psalm 22:26 which says, “All who seek the Lord will praise him. Their hearts will rejoice with everlasting joy.” We must remember that each day God provides us with something(s) no matter how small to remind us to seek JOY in our lives. Let us be focused on finding the JOY in situations throughout the day that would normally distract us and take our JOY away.

Reflection from Let’s Read the Bible Together from Life Church

For 2024, we will take part in the “Let’s Read the Bible Together” plan. This morning we read from Luke 1:13 where the angel Gabriel speaks to Zechariah saying, “Do not be afraid, Zechariah; your prayer has been heard. Your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son, and you are to call him John. “As with Zechariah, whatever we pray has been heard. Let us hold tight knowing that the hears all, knows all, and do what is best for me and you. Verse 45 says, “Blessed is she who has believed that the Lord would fulfill his promises to her!” We only have to believe to receive.

God has granted us with yet a new beginning through 2024. Let us look to the heavens for guidance as we live our lives to the fullest each day on earth.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
