Daily Devotional for August 1, 2021
“For the Lord loves justice; he will not forsake his saints. They are preserved forever, but the children of the wicked shall be cut off.” Psalm 37:28 ESV
Today’s scripture from Psalm 37:28 in Osteen’s message says, the Lord delights in justice and does not abandon His saints. With all that we go T.H.R.O.U.G.H. (Trials, Hurt, Regrets, Obstacles, Uncertainty, Guilt, Heartbreak) we must REst assured that there’s a purpose, but He will always ensure that what is right and good comes upon our lives. This is just another REminder that He will always prosper us and not harm us. However, we must REmember also that trials come to make us strong. Workouts are important for the body and the soul.
Leviticus 9
Leviticus 9:6 REminds us that whatever the Lord commands that we should do—do it, for there will BE glory given to us for obedience.
REflection from Awesome God: Midyear Prayer and Fasting
Today we BEgin a family devotional from Every Nation Philippines called “Awesome God: Midyear Prayer and Fasting”. This morning’s REminder is God is always with us. He has BEen, is, and always will BE with us. Today’s message says, “God, the most powerful of all, came to earth as a baby, who couldn’t do anything except depend on other humans to care for Him and feed Him. He did all of this so He could be with us and save us, because He loves us.” He didn’t have to do it, but His love for us caused Him to want to exchange places witn us so He would experience what we do. (Wo)man may never walk in your shoes, but the Father has and He knows. Trust in Him knowing He is and will BE with you always, even until the end of time.
Romans 8:6
Let us not focus on what we might see or what others might say, but focus on the promises of God that produce a peace that surpasses all understanding and eternal life with Him. 🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
Stay steadfast in serving and seek solitude with the Savior this Sunday, my friend.
