Daily Devotional for August 2, 2021

“Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us.”

‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭3:20‬ ‭ESV‬‬

My brother, my siSTAR, do you know your worth? Do you not know that your life is so precious, Jesus sacrificed His life for you? Because of that, you don’t have to and shouldn’t sacrifice yourself for anyone else. God can do exceedingly abundantly above all we can ask or think, as Osteen highlights from one of my favorite scriptures, Ephesians 3:20. We don’t have to settle or depend on anything or anyone in this life. Choose you BEcause Christ did and does each day. Is there something inside you that you are ignoring BEcause of the unknown? Well trust God to lead you and guide you, for He will not put something in you that He won’t guide you and see you T.H.R.O.U.G.H. (Trials, Hurt, Regrets, Obstacles, Uncertainty, Guilt, Heartbreak). As Osteen says this morning, “God can make things happen that you can never make happen. Trust Him and step out in faith for your blessings.

Leviticus 10

As the Lord spoke to Aaron in Leviticus 10:8, may we work to teach others all the statutes that the Lord has spoken, for His word is true, and it shall last.

REflection from Awesome God: Midyear Prayer and Fasting

Today’s message from “Awesome God: Midyear Prayer and Fasting”, speaks to the message God is our comfort saying, “It is highlighted by Paul, in his second letter to the Corinthians, he reminds the believers that God is the God of all comfort. This means that God knows what we are going through—our afflictions, our problems, and our stress.” You may not BE able to turn to others around you, BEcause they don’t know your story—what you’ve BEen through or what you’re going through. Yet God is all seeing and all knowing on which you can always depend. Comfort isn’t truly found in materialistic food (ice cream, chips, social media and others), but comfort is found in Christ—the true nourishment to soothe your soul.

Galatians 6:2

Let us love and lift and support each other as Christ has for us.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈

May your mission BE to minister about His mercy this Monday, my friend.
