The Inner Connection

Kundtz quotes Rollo May, American psychologist and author this morning. May was known to say, “Intimacy requires courage because risk is inescapable. We cannot know at the outset how the relationship will affect us.” Many of us struggle to be truthful with ourselves, and therefore, it is nearly impossible to open to others. However, Kundtz highlights in his message today, “The more time you spend in quiet recollection, the more you will notice others who do the same, and the more you will take the risk to connect with them.” There is an energy that draws individuals to others who “do the work”. It is difficult for us to face ourselves, but those who do work to heal and in order to heal one reveals what has held then down, hostage, or in despair. The saying, “the truth will set you free” is activated. There is an aura about one who is free, and connectedness occurs through like minded individuals.

John 8:36 says, “So if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed.” Through our testimonies we are able to share trials and tribulations without fear, for we have prayed and asked for forgiveness, releasing ourselves from the burdens we bear and opening ourselves up to the blessings of Christ.

Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.

We do not have to worry about our plans and opportunities in life. There is no question about if God will do for us, He promises that He will in His word. We only have to wait on the opportunities.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not rely on your own insight. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.

May we hold wholeheartedly to our faith in God, trusting in His ways for us and not our own and always recognizing His will.
