Let us lead in love to live and lead a life and legacy that Christ instilled in you and me

A Good Model

“Children have more need of models than critics.” These are works spoken by essayist Joseph Joubert and highlighted by Kundtz this morning. He then poses the question, “How can we believe that when we live life like a rat race, our children somehow will not?” What are we showing our children about life each day? If they were to act out what they see of us, what would it reveal? We are encouraged by Kundtz to consider if our own kids or someone else’s who say, do less. What would your biopic display?

Ephesians 6:1-4 reads, “Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. ‘Honor your father and mother’—this is the first commandment with a promise: ‘so that it may be well with you and you may live long on the earth.’ And, fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.”

‭‭Let us be mindful of what we are saying and displaying to our children, for both impact the life and legacy of you, me, and them.

Small Straws Scripture: 2 Corinthians 4:16 Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day.

As we grow older physically, let us remain strong in Christ, for our inner soul will manifest through, permeating the youthfulness as we grow stronger in the Lord.

Youversion Verse of the Day: 2 Corinthians 9:7

Each of you must give as you have made up your mind, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.

When your heart pulls at a matter, let you gifts, time, and talent accompany.

Let us lead in love to live and lead a life and legacy that Christ instilled in you and me, my friend.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
