Making Healthy Boundaries
Kundtz writes this morning, “In order to live a peaceful and balanced life, we need healthy boundaries, limits that allow us to say no, to avoid overcommitting and having to respond to everyone's needs.” Boundaries help us to stay in peace and not pieces. In the same manner we raise children and give them boundaries foe their protection and safety as they grow, we must give ourselves boundaries for their protection same reasons. You are responsible not only for your own happiness, but your peace of mind, too.
Today’s message makes me think of Psalm 23:1-6. “The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures; he leads me beside still waters; he restores my soul. He leads me in right paths for his name's sake. Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I fear no evil; for you are with me; your rod and your staff— they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord my whole life long.” When we fail to set boundaries, we can still rest assured that God is providing them.
Small Straws Scripture: Galatians 5:1
Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage.
Hold fast knowing that God has answered our prayers and taken us from things we prayed about. Let us not return to those things that He has freed us and our lives from, but remain focused on where we are and where is is taking us.
Youversion Verse of the Day: Psalm 100:5
For the Lord is good; his steadfast love endures forever, and his faithfulness to all generations.
There is nothing that can change our Father’s love for us.
Our Father is our greatest giver of love and protection in all situations in life, my friend.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
