Daily Devotional for October 19, 2020

“Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God. They are brought to their knees and fall, but we rise up and stand firm.” ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭20:7-8‬ ‭

Don’t let the mindset of others cause a setback in your life. What others think or have to say matters not as you focus on your vision to fruition. Eye has not seen, nor ear heard...the things which God has prepared for those who love Him (1 Corinthians 2:9). People may have experienced what others have or have not done in similar situations in the past, but God has a specific purpose and plan for your life. The enemy comes to kill, steal, and destroy, but nothing can keep us from the love and will of God. Seek our Father and show others better than you can tell them whose you are and the greatness that is within you as His heir.

Malachi 2

May we REsolve to listen and honor the name of the Lord, so that He will not send a curse on us and our blessings He has prepared for our lives. (Malachi‬ ‭2:2‬)

Julie Jeffress Sadler ties together the words we have already read this morning in today message. She says, “God has unique purposes for each of us that are to be discovered. God gives you your dreams, talents, and desires, which means He not only has a great plan for your life but also has equipped you with the personality, talent, and interests you need in order to accomplish this plan.” Assess who you are, what you do well and what you are drawn to in this life and live out who He has created you to BE and BEcome.

Psalm 23:3

When we travel this glorious adventure and BEcome drained and weary from pressing towards the mark, He will give us a REnewed strength to carry on, for there is no failure in God. 🙏🏽💚🦋🌈

Make moments to meditate on your mission this Monday, my friend.
