Growing “Like Corn in the Night”

As Kundtz continues to speak about stopping, he reminds us this morning, “When we are Stopped… we give ourselves time— create an opening-for anything that needs attention on some level of our consciousness. The fascinating thing about the process is that it does not have to be conscious…. All you have to do is put some space and time around yourself, and your marvelous mind and soul will sort it out.” Stopping allows for space, and space gives way to processing, and processing gives way to clarity, and clarity gives way to peace of mind. As William Thoreau is mentioned, we grow “like corn in the night” when we are deliberate about carving out time to absorb everything we need to reflect, assess, reset, plan and grow into who God is leading us to be.

1 Corinthians 3:7 reads, “So neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God who gives the growth.” There is nothing we can do in our own, but when we give space and intentionally welcome God in evolution, growth and progress is inevitable.

Small Straw Scripture: Deuteronomy 31:8 And the Lord, He is the One who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed.

It doesn’t matter what we are experiencing—highs, lows, anxiety, or peace, or Father has and forever will be with us, so let us take comfort in Thee.

Youversion Verse of the Day: Galatians 6:2

Bear one another's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.

Let us never hesitate to help one another, lifting as we climb and helping others when they cannot do for themselves.

He is our ever present help, therefore let us be of help to others and to ourselves in this life, my friend.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
