Healing and transformation is a part of our growth in Christ, so release and be at peace

Crying Out

We are reminded in today’s devotional, “Our Lord set an example for us to follow. Jesus, the creator of tears, cried. He wept in front of others. He cried out to His Father. Neither fear nor pride stopped Him from expressing these painful emotions. Jesus knew that His Father would hear His cries and come to His aid.” Similarly, let us know that we should be comfortable with releasing everything to God, including our tears. Let us not hold back, for releasing is a healing process for us. It is an emotional release and a way for us to once again get to peace.

Psalm 6:6 reads, “I am worn out from groaning; all night long I flood my bed with weeping and drench my couch with tears.”

When we are in similar circumstances, let us know what we release God sees and will work towards healing and peace for you and me.

Small Straws Scripture: Psalm 46:1-5

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth be removed and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; though the waters roar and be troubled, though the mountains quake with its swelling. There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacle of the Most High. God is the midst of her, she shall not be moved; God shall help her just at break of dawn.

No matter what we experience in life, our Father will always be our place of security and help. There is nothing we have to be worried or concerned about for He will provide for us and open windows and ways of opportunity for all that we set out to do.

Youversion Verse of the Day: Isaiah 40:3

The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make straight in the desert a highway for our God.

As we go about each day, let us continually work towards physical and spiritual preparation to receive the Lord when He returns, for He will come again.

Healing and transformation is a part of our growth in Christ, so release and be at peace, my friend.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
