Daily Devotional for June 26, 2021

“Righteousness goes before him and prepares the way for his steps.” Psalm 85:13

As we continue to go through life and we REflect on the trials and challenges, and wonder why, may we REflect on Joseph’s life highlighted by Osteen this morning. The Word says, “Righteousness goes before him and prepares the way for his steps” (Psalm 85:13). Osteen REminds us that Joseph was given a dream by God and was destined for greatness, but he had to go through some dark places, but God connected the dots. Had he not gone through, things would not have worked out. What we don’t understand as well as what doesn’t look right to (wo)man is a part of God’s plan. Stay in faith and trust His process for your life.

Genesis 23

Genesis 23 speaks to the burial of Sarah, wife of Abraham. May we BE loved and cherished by those around us until the end, and may we REflect on Sarah’s life and age and know that God will fulfill His promises for us as He did with her.

REflection from Closer to God Each Day

Joyce Meyer speaks to two things that I have truly come to experience as I have walked closer to the Lord along life’s JOurneY. This morning she says, “Peace comes when you turn over your burden to the Lord—when you choose to cast your care on Him instead of keeping it for yourself.” For many years I tried to solve my life’s problems and many times those of others, but as Meyer continued with her message this morning, when I gave everything to Him—truly trusting that He was my burden bearer, I truly experienced Philippians 4:7, that peace and JOY that surpasses all understanding. There is truly nothing like it. Now, even in my challenging times I know that He will never leave me nor forsake me, and things will work for my good, because everything is a part of His plan. If He’s done it before, He will do it again for He is the same God—NEVER changing.🙏🏽

Hebrews 12:11

Discipline can be daunting, but if we do things with due diligence we will be delivered into our destiny.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
