Daily Devotional for June 25, 2021
“Be ready and keep ready…” Ezekiel 38:7 ESV
I’ve heard my dear friend say to students “stay REady so you don’t have to get REady”. Similarly in the bible, the message emphasized with today’s devotional says, “Be ready and keep ready” (Ezekiel 38:7). There are no trial runs in life—life happens. However, our Father works to prepare us through experiences. Osteen REminds us again this morning that trouble is transportation. We go T.H.R.O.U.G.H. (Trials, Hurt, Regrets, Obstacles, Uncertainty, Guilt, Heartbreak) for our breakthrough and to prepare us for the next trial to triumph and not trepidation.
Genesis 22
May our faith in and REverence for the Father BE as confident as that of Abraham in Genesis 22. Let us BE willing to lose to win—even our most prized possessions in this life. For in those times tests truly BEcome testimonies of what God can and will do if we just BElieve. He will not harm us, but prosper, if we only trust Him and BE willing vessels.
REflection from Closer to God Each Day
It is wonderful to know when we are in Christ we can truly BE ourselves. Meyer emphasizes this morning, “With God’s help, we can learn our value is not in what we do but in who we are in Him. He wants us to come to Him as we are and trust Him to help us be all that He wants us to be.” Let us each day BE confident in ourselves and in the words of Dr. Seuss REmember, “Today you are you, that is truer than true. There is no one alive who is youer than you.” Additionally, “ Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don’t matter and those who matter don’t mind.”
Acts 3:19
Our Father is a REstorer and knows we were made in his likeness, but are imperfect. BEcause of his grace we are gifted REpentance that provides us a REnewal within and with Him. 🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
Faith and favor are factors for flourishing this Friday, my friend.
