Daily Devotional for June 24, 2021
I gave anointed [David] with my holy oil. I will steady him and make him strong. His enemies shall not outwit him… he will be great because of me.” Psalm 89:20-24 TLB
Lean not on your own understanding; that’s something that we must continually REmind ourselves to do. Sometimes some of us have to know it all, plan it all, and know the why, but with Christ that is not always possible. We must trust Him with everything, and especially during the times that we don’t understand. Instead of beating ourselves up trying to figure a situation out, or just flat out worrying, we must leave things in His hands. We know worry ends where faith BEgins. As Osteen says this morning, we’re anointed for trouble. we are powerful, determined, favored…and one day we’re going to look back and see what God was doing in the darkness. Stay in faith.
Genesis 21
May Sarah in Genesis 21:1 BE a REminder and evidence to us that with patience, the Lord will be gracious to us as He has said, and the Lord will do for us what He has promised.
REflection from Closer to God Each Day
Meyer encourages us this day to pray anout everything and fear nothing. She goes on to say, “Sometimes we become afraid by focusing on our circumstances. The more we focus on the problem, the more fearful we become. Instead, we can choose to keep our focus on God…. But we never experience the help of God until we place everything on the line, until we are obedient enough to step out in faith.” Boldly step out today. The Father over fear, and Christ over circumstances.
Revelation 21:4
Let us keep things in perspective: earth has no sorrow that heaven cannot heal. 🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
Timing is everything, my friend.
