Daily Devotional for September 27, 2020
“For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.” 1 Corinthians 13:12
Waiting along our walk is critical in our development. Closed doors are just as important for our growth. Both situations REquire that we not lean on our own understanding. In our eyes, we may think we are prepared and the best fit for a situation, but as we continue to learn, our Father’s purpose and plan can open doors we could not see or expect and birth opportunities exceedingly abundantly more than we can ever ask or think. As Osteen put it, “God closes doors to push us into our destiny.” Continue to patiently wait, for God is only setting you up for the opportunity of your life. He’s going to blow your mind and qualify you in the process.
Deuteronomy 14
There is truly a define connection when we are obedient to God’s word and strive to walk with Him. As the previous devotional spoke, God has pushed me into a new opportunity as a REsult of my faith walk. I never would have imagined that I would BE a life coach or a health coach, but He truly qualifies the called. As I’m working to learn more in this capacity, I am studying foods, and understand there is food for our nourishment and food for our souls. Our bodies are our temples. May we feed ourselves of the foods and nourishment just as in Deuteronomy 14, and may we give freely of our firsts unto others as spoken as well to nurture our souls.
As I speak to my clients and others about my glorious adventure along this JOurneY in life, I emphasize the first major step of my mindset change. As Mark Batterson emphasizes in his devotional, Double Blessing, “The blessing of God is more than a mystery to solve. It’s a decision to make, a habit to form, and a mindset to establish.” We must BElieve in our minds that God can and will do what He says. When we change our minds we BElieve that we can truly do all things through Christ, shifting our perspective to positivity and expectancy, we are setting ourselves up to walk by faith and prepare to REceive all of the goodness and mercy He has prepared for our lives, for our God is a God of abundance and not lack.
Romans 6:23
May we strive to live unto Christ and REceive our REward of eternal life with Him, and not temporary gain from going against His will on earth. 🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
Start with self care, which is not selfish, this Sunday, my friend.
