The Pathway to Your Stopping Wood’s

Kundtz wraps up today’s message with thoughts for us to consider. “Does anything come to your mind that might be an unusual trigger for your stopping wood? Perhaps you can keep your list handy and continue your process of defining how you will incorporate stopping into your daily routine.” These are the things and ways for us to consider: reading, writing, visual beauty, touching, beautiful sounds and fragrances, sacramentals, rituals, spaces and places. Animals, seasons, weather, and movements of the earth, all of which are the things that ensure we take time to stop and be, and enjoy life given to you and me.

Deuteronomy 4:39 says, “So acknowledge today and take to heart that the Lord is God in heaven above and on the earth beneath; there is no other.”

‭‭Let us never take for granted another day we have been granted life, nor each moment to breath in life.

Small Straws Scripture: 1 Corinthians 13:4-7

Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

True love is of God, for God is love, and we are best when we do all things in love.

Youversion Verse of the Day: Deuteronomy 7:9

“Know therefore that the Lord your God is God, the faithful God who maintains covenant loyalty with those who love him and keep his commandments, to a thousand generations…”.

God is the only true and living God, and His promises and commandments He keeps and fulfills.

If nothing else, let us pause and praise our true and living God each opportunity we have each day, my friend.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
