Daily Devotional for July 3, 2021
“When my father and my mother forsake me, then the Lord will take me up.”
Psalm 27:10 KJV
This morning Osteen speaks about David BEing dropped by people coming against him, by rejection, by disappointments, and by his own failures, but he says, “God said, in effect ‘Don’t worry, David, that drop is not the end.’” David was an example in biblical times, but we are examples of present day. Those times in our lives were necessary, for just like a ball, when we are dropped, we bounce back. When you bounce back, be sure to shoot your shot for we are always on a winning team with Christ.
Genesis 30
As with Jacob in Genesis 30:43, we shall be increased exceedingly; but we must await God’s timing for our lives.
REflection from Gaining Godly Wisdom by Youversion
Today we BEgin “Gaining Godly Wisdom” by Youversion. The message says, “The first and most important thing we need to know about wisdom is that it comes from God.” It goes further to say, “In James 3:13-18 NLT, Godly wisdom is explained in detail: ‘If you are wise and understand God’s ways, prove it by living an honorable life, doing good works with the humility that comes from wisdom.’” Let us all strive to not only BE REaders, but doers of the Word imparted in us as we go about our daily lives.
1 Chronicles 16:11
Let us seek the Lord and His way in all that we do. 🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
Safety, strength, and success are found in the Savior this Saturday, my friend.
