Who redeems your life from the pit, Who crowns you [lavishly] with lovingkindness and tender mercy. Psalm 103:4 AMP
“Nothing is wasted—the good, the bad, the painful. God knows how to bring blessing out of the dark places”, Osteen says in today’s message. God wants to use everything about us to share of His goodness with others. Most times the difficult times make the difference in others’ lives. When we are in darkness it is sometimes difficult to find the light. Yet hearing how He brought another out can give us strength to carry on. As Psalm 103:4 states, “Who redeems your life from the pit, Who crowns you [lavishly] with lovingkindness and tender mercy.” God can and will.
Genesis 4
Even when darkness and difficulty surrounds us, let us learn from the Lord’s message to Cain. “If you do what is right, will you not be accepted? But if you do not do what is right, sin is crouching at your door; it desires to have you, but you must rule over it” (Genesis 4:7 NIV). May we strive to do what is right in this life, for God knows our hearts, and like Cain, we will still BE covered by His grace.
REflection from Battlefield of the Mind
Where is your faith? Is it truly in God and His will and His way for your life? Joyce Meyer talks about how we like to get what we want, even as Christians. She said, “Although God does want us to have a good life, there will be times when we must be patient and endure not getting our way. These disappointments test our character and level of spiritual maturity. They actually show whether or not we truly are ready for promotion…. A humble mind enables us to take a back seat and wait for God to move us to the front. God's Word says that we inherit the promises through faith and patience.” Let us truly trust the process and surrender to Him and His perfect plan and will for our lives. As we wait, let us REflect upon all He has done and brought us through, and REst assured that our latter will BE greater and our BEst is yet to come.
Ezekiel 36:26
Let not your heart REmain hardened from situations from the past. Surrender to Christ so He can love the hurt away and REnew a right spirit within you. 🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
