Daily Devotional for August 8, 2021

“The king’s heart is like a stream of water directed by the Lord; he guides it wherever he pleases.” Proverbs‬ ‭21:1‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Let us REmember, as Osteen highlights in today’s message: the same way God changed our hearts, He can change the heart of others. Osteen REminds us that we don’t have to play up to those who discredit us or dismiss us, for God knows how to change people. The only person we are REsponsible for is self. Therefore, let us stay true and not worry about what others do.

Leviticus 16

Leviticus 16 speaks of atonement. Is there something in your life or someone you need to make amends with that you’ve BEen putting off?

REflection from The Spiritual Life of a Leader

This morning in “The Spiritual Life of a Leader” we REad about devotion and discipline. Boyd Bailey says, “Devotion to Christ first keeps your heart of faith full of grace and truth…Discipline, on the other hand, is the ability to stay focused on the task at hand.” As we work to live for Christ, may both BE intertwined in our lives, and may we live devoted in our passion and discipline in our purpose in this life.

Proverbs 23:24

Let us strive to do good which brings JOY to our earthly parents and to our heavenly Father.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
