Keep your perspective on Thee in ‘23

“When hard pressed, I cried to the Lord; he brought me into a spacious place.The Lord is with me; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?” Psalm 118:5-6

We must always REmember that nothing in this life is too hard for God. Today’s message “Pressing In” lifts up Psalm 118:5-6 which says, “When hard pressed, I cried to the Lord; he brought me into a spacious place.The Lord is with me; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?” As the devotional encourages, “Even if God does not remove us from the trials we are facing, we can rest assured knowing that he uses everything for his glory and we will triumph in the end.” Just like Romans 8:28, everything is going to work for our good in the end. We must have the faith, trust, and endure to REceive the blessing and/or lesson that is sure to come. Keep that perspective on Thee in 2023.

Matthew 21

Let us REmember the importance of our faith as in Matthew 21:21-22. “Jesus replied, ‘Truly I tell you, if you have faith and do not doubt,… you can say to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and it will be done. If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.’”

Reflection from Hello Beautiful by Kara Barker

“You Are Enough” is the title of today’s message from Kara Barker’s “Hello Beautiful” series. She writes, “When we fail, struggle or face obstacles, it can make us feel like we are not enough. Surely, we must somehow be inadequate, or this wouldn't be happening. If only we could be stronger, do more, and get better, then things would be okay. We would be okay…. We aren’t struggling because of the specifics of our circumstances as much as we are struggling because we fail to trust God to give us what we need, to show us where we are supposed to go and what we are supposed to do.” Our Father has already equipped us with what we need and will continue to provide if we just BElieve. He’s already gone BEfore us, we just have to trust and prepare to REceive. BE your #1 BEliever for His likeness is within you.
