Know your role but ensure Jesus is in control

For as in one body we have many members, and the members do not all have the same function, so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another. Romans 12:4-5

Today’s devotional from “Daily Strength for Women” speaks about “Body Parts”. The message says, “God has created all of our [body] parts to be distinct yet interdependent. As a Christian, you are part of the body of Christ.… You were created to belong to something that is greater than yourself.” As we go about the day, let us REmember that we play an integral part in where God leads us, who God crosses our path with, and what we will do. We are important to both our individual and the greater good. Don’t ever take your contributions lightly for we all have passion and purpose that He places within us to do His work and His will. Whether through tests or testimonies, BE a blessing this day.

Matthew 18

Let us know that we do not have to go at anything alone in this life. In Matthew 18:20 the word says, “‘Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.’”

Reflection from Hello Beautiful by Kara Harper

In Kara Barker’s message “Amazingly You” she encourages us by saying, “You don’t have to do more, be more or have more to be amazing. You have extraordinary potential in fulfilling your life with anything and everything you want.“ She goes further REminding us, “His amazing grace accomplishes the impossible. It redeems us from sin, restores us to the newness of life, and makes us fit for God’s holy presence forever. And when you have God in your life, you're nothing short of being absolutely amazing.” May we let go of the pressures within or from life that keep us anxious and discouraged, for His grace has kept us and will continue to do so to help us to do and BE what He REquires of you and me.

Proverbs 3:5-6

Trust in Him and you will always win.

Know your role but ensure Jesus is in control, my friend.
