He has not forgotten me and you
Now may our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God our Father, who loved us and gave us eternal comfort and good hope through grace, comfort your hearts and establish them in every good work and word. 2 Thessalonians 2:16-17
As with the Thessalonians i today’s devotional from “Daily Strength for Women”, we can face every obstacle with confidence and strength BEcause God has demonstrated His love for us. The question was posed, “How can you find comfort in uncomfortable times?” Well, we know that He as promised to work all things for our good, and as a REminder we have to go T.H.R.O.U.G.H. (Trials, Hurt, Regrets, Obstacles, Uncertainty, Guilt, Heartbreak) for our breakthrough. Perspective is the key; there’s a bright side and victory beyond each challenge for you and me.
Matthew 19
No matter what we pray for and what we may go through, Matthew 19:26 REminds us of Jesus saying, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.’” Let us trust Him with all aspects of our lives.
Reflection from Hello Beautiful by Kara Barker
Kara Barker tells us today “Your Worth Is More Than Rubies”. She says, “You’re valuable. I know you want to argue that proclamation and tell me if only I knew you better, I’d think differently… but God desperately wants you to see and know that you are valuable, and your worth is more than rubies. Your value is not dependent on your abilities, your characteristics, or your efforts to try harder to please others.” She goes on to say, “Just like a strand of rubies or a ruby ring, its value is determined by its manufacturer and the consumer. That is just like you and me. Our worth is determined by who made us and who paid a price for our salvation.“ Let us all REmember who we are and Whose we are. We were bought with a price BEcause we are considered priceless by Christ. Don’t ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
Jeremiah 29:11
Things may not go our way, but His plans are the BEst way.
He has not forgotten me and you, my friend.
