Daily Devotional for November 4, 2020

So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. Isaiah‬ ‭55:11‬ ‭

I do not BElieve in coincidence; I know that everything God ordains. No one, and not even ourselves can keep us from God’s purpose and plan for our lives. Things might be delayed, but they won’t BE denied. Joel Osteen speaks about Apostle Paul this morning and his imprisonment. His captors thought they were shutting Him down from physically spreading the word, but unknowingly, they gave him a new venue through writing to have an even greater influence than he could in person. I truly BElieve this is a sign and confirmation for me this morning. Last night one of the last things I did was to schedule a time to meet with my editor about my book. She told me last week that we could BE finished with our round of edits by the 6th.

As I awoke this morning on the 4th and REad today’s devotional, I heard Joel Osteen speaking directly to me: “God is going to increase your influence. . .God wants you to be a barrier breaker. He wants you to take new ground for the kingdom.” Let us not deny what God puts in our hearts, minds, and souls to BE harbored; let us REveal to heal and help (ourselves) and others.

Exodus 8

As Moses in Exodus 8, may we REmain persistent and steadfast in what God calls us to do in His name. Let no one else’s actions or defiance prevent our personal obedience to the Father.

Mark Batterson explains to us this morning that “The blessings of God are a Mandelbrot set. They aren’t one size fits all. Each blessing is custom fitted to your complexity and. . . your personality.” He then goes on to REmind us that we were not only fearfully and wonderfully made, but uniquely made. He emphasizes that as a REsult, “No one can worship God like you or for you.” Many mornings I say that it’s a new day with new beginnings and new blessings, new mercies and new opportunities. That’s God and His will for each of us in our lives to live, BE, do, and BEcome all that we want and He desires for us. Let us at every opportunity give Him praise for the unlimited blessings—big and small, seen and unseen—that He allows in our lives.

Hebrews 13:8

We never know what each new day will bring our way, but one thing that is consistent and certain is that our Father REmains the same. 🙏🏽💚🦋🌈

Worship through whatever this Wednesday, my friend.
