Go BE great, and don’t worry about hate
“What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes.” James 4:14
Today Osteen REminds us about time, and how we should not waste it dragging through days BEing upset, offended, and discouraged. As highlighted from James 4:14, “What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes.” Let us not waste time, negatively impacted as victims, but REmembering our Father is our vindicator and will ensure our victory. Go BE great; don’t worry about the hate.
Isaiah 41
Isaiah 41:9-10, 13 REminds us that we are chosen by the Father. “I took you from the ends of the earth, from its farthest corners I called you. I said, ‘You are my servant’; I have chosen you and have not rejected you. So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.”
REflection from Promises for Your Everyday Life
Last night as I conversed with our President discussing the The Grand Opening & Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for the Women’s Business Center for Greensboro on our campus, she said, “Tomorrow is all about you, Dr. Colson.” That was a proud but humbling moment for me to hear those words, and I knew all praises go to our Father. When I was brought to the table to assist with turning around a proposal in only a few days, as with everything else, I had to turn to the Father for guidance. As Meyer says in today’s message “God Gives Grace to the Humble”, He did just that in this situation and so much more in my life. She says, “1 Peter 5:5 which tells us that God ‘sets Himself against the proud, but gives grace (favor, blessing) to the humble.’ And anyone who thinks they're a self-made man or woman has a rude awakening coming because Jesus said, ‘...Apart from Me [cut off from vital union with Me] you can do nothing’ (John 15:5 AMP).”
Let us REmain humble in all that we do to show the work of the Lord, letting His glory shine through, holding fast to 1 Peter 5:6 as well, for in due time He will exalt me and you.
Psalm 94:19
When we don’t worry about yesterday or tomorrow and stay present and BE with Thee, He will REplace JOY for any anxiety.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
Go BE great, and don’t worry about hate, my friend.
