Daily Devotional for November 23, 2020

“…the joy of the Lord is your strength.””

‭‭Nehemiah‬ ‭8:10‬ ‭

This morning’s devotional from Joel Osteen is definitely a chapter out of my own book. As I REad it I REflected over my similar experience. I am grateful for my ex-husband, for he is the one person who said to me and helped me understand that I’m REsponsible for my own happiness. For that statement alone changed my life. Like the woman in today’s devotional, once I focused on me and sought the Lord, the JOY I found through Him truly BEcame my strength to take the boldest step in life to choose me and to change me. Today I am truly happy, but more importantly, I’m at peace and I have unspeakable JOY.

Exodus 27

As I REad Exodus 27:21, the scripture spoke about Aaron and his sons keeping the lamps of the tabernacle burning before the Lord from evening till morning. This was to be a lasting ordinance among the Israelites for the generations to come. A thought came to my mind about a gospel song’s lyrics which say, “Keep your lamp trimmed and burning.” Let us not grow weary in doing what God has prepared for us to do, even if the wait BEgins to cause us to BEcome impatient and the flame within us grows dim.. For at the appointed time, He will show up and show out in our lives. Let us is await His confirmation and alignment to direct us along our way.

REflection from Ready to Unlock the Kingdom of God?

Today we BEgin the series, “Ready to Unlock the Kingdom of God?”. In today’s devotional author Paul Marc Goulet REminds us that our Father wants us to be ambassadors for heaven, and states, “In big ways and in small ways, you can bring the culture of heaven to earth.” May we each not shy from the gifts and purpose imparted upon our lives to touch the lives of others along life’s JOurneY. Let us always BE willing vessels to BE used by Him.

1 John 4:19

Love is learned and passed on from generation to generation. Let His love for us forever permeate through us to others. Shall it forever REmain constant in our hearts through Him for Jesus is love. 🙏🏽💚🦋🌈

Make ministry your motivation this Monday, my friend.
