Daily Devotional for November 22, 2020
“Peter turned and saw that the disciple whom Jesus loved was following them. (This was the one who had leaned back against Jesus at the supper and had said, “Lord, who is going to betray you?”) When Peter saw him, he asked, “Lord, what about him?” Jesus answered, “If I want him to remain alive until I return, what is that to you? You must follow me.””
John 21:20-22
Yesterday my dear friend shared with me a TikTok of an Asian choir singing the song Change, and the thought of it REsonates with me this morning after REading Osteen’s message. In REstrospect, I’m so grateful for a wonderful change that has come over me. I stopped placing my focus on others and RErouted all my time and energy on me, REalizing, like Osteen says, we are not the Potter, but the clay. We cannot shape and mold anyone else, but we can give ourselves freely for God to do so with us.
Exodus 26
As is Exodus 26, like the tabernacle, God has a detailed and specific plan and purpose for our lives. We must work to hearers and doers of what He is imparting in us through His word, messages, signs, and confirmation.
REflection from Practicing Gratitude
In this life we will experience ups and downs, trials and triumphs with each new day and every situation, but perspective is key. Positive begets positive. Through gratitude comes greatness but most importantly grace in those situations where we would otherwise have a mindset of defeat.
Psalms 107:1
Let us BE forever grateful for the love that endures, even at times when we may feel unable to love ourselves or allow ourselves to BE loved. 🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
Smile and share some SONshine for yourself and others this Sunday, my friend.
