Let us focus on what Christ has put in us to do today, whether it’s work or rest, for He knows best

Why Cramming and Cutting Don’t Work

Kundtz quotes Jay Wallsjasper, writer, who said, “No matter how fast we go, no matter how many comforts we forgo...there never seems to be enough time." Kundtz writes this morning saying, “In the past, we used two ways of coping with the challenge of too much: we crammed things in or we cut things out. These are natural, normal, and effective responses to life at a certain pace.” You and I know that doing both or either is only a temporary fix and can really cause more frustration that alleviate matters. Therefore, as usual with Kundtz, the remedy recommended is to stop. Let us take time to face the facts and the problems that are causing us to be overwhelmed, overworked, and lacking time for ourselves. Sit, assess, and reset.

Philippians 4:13 is familiar to most and says, “I can do all things through him who strengthens me.” Yes, we can do all things through the help of Christ but we cannot do all things. Listen to your body, mind, and most importantly, your spirit, and choose wisely what you can and cannot do without regret.

Small Straws Scripture: Matthew 6:33-34 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

When we seek our Father for guidance, He will give us the wisdom and way to accomplish tasks each day.

Youversion Verse of the Day: Hebrews 5:7

In the days of his flesh, Jesus offered up prayers and supplications, with loud cries and tears, to the one who was able to save him from death, and he was heard because of his reverent submission.

‭‭May we strive to continue to be more like our Father when He walked this earth, strive for perfection submission and even understanding the importance of rest.

Let us focus on what Christ has put in us to do today, whether it’s work or rest, for He knows best, my friend.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
