Let us live out in love for that is the expectation of Christ until our last earthly day

The Love Letter

We are reminded in today’s devotional “The Love Letter” that “The Bible is our love letter from God, from the one true Lover of our souls…. If we want to show Him how much we love Him and desire to understand His heart, we need to read His words.” Let us take time out daily to hear for ourselves God’s love for us directly and not second hand. When we are up, read the Word. When we are down, read the Word. When we are lost, confused, scared, concerned, or have lost our way, may we read the Word.

1 John 4:10 reads, “This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.”

It’s has been said over and over again, that there is no greater love than the love God has shown through the sacrifice of hisSon for you and me.

Small Straws Scripture: Psalm 37:1-4

Do not fret because of those who are evil or be envious of those who do wrong for like the grass they will soon wither, like green plants they will soon die away. Trust in the Lord and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture. Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.

Let us not worry about those who come against us prospering from us doing good towards them, for we know that no weapon formed against us will. However, let us alway do as God directs us to do and what our hearts lead us to do out of love for He is love. We will always prosper and be blessed when we avoid mess.

Youversion Verse of the Day: Luke 12:40

Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not.

Let us always work to be prepared for the unknown call from Christ, never fearing to journey to our eternal home, for we don’t know when the time will come.

Let us live out in love for that is the expectation of Christ until our last earthly day, my friend.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
