Let us take the time to stop and be grateful and focus on serving as we move forward
Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening
Today’s message from Kundtz is a reminder that no matter what, we have choices to make. He emphasizes, “The choice is yours: to continue to be overwhelmed by the problem of too much, becoming too distracted from what is really important to you-convinced, somehow, that you can't take time out even for a three-minute Stillpoint-or to begin an easy, simple, and new way of living that will bring you peace, calm, and recollection in the midst of your busy life.” We have engaged about the benefits of stopping, and I’m sure from this, if you haven’t started stopping or having stillpoints, you are strongly considering incorporating them. As Kundtz wraps up today’s message and reminds us, “We all need to discover our own unique path-the ways, times, places, triggers, occasions, and opportunities- to our Stopping Woods," to just watch whatever is going on: falling snow or setting sun or growing grass or simply what's outside the window.” Find the time to begin the incorporation of this life changing process in your life. We are worth it and deserve it.
Psalms 68:19 reads, “Blessed be the Lord, who daily bears us up; God is our salvation. Selah”
Let us always be grateful for what our Father does and provides, especially rest and even assurance in that rest.
Small Straws Scripture: Ephesians 4:26-27
Be angry, and do not sin: do not let the sun go down on your wrath nor give place to the devil.
It is ok for us to experience anger, for it is a natural emotion, but never let it linger, for it allows the enemy to consume and influence you.
Youversion Verse of the Day: Matthew 20:28
“Just as the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life a ransom for many.”
Our Father’s purpose was to serve and not be served, so let us have the same mission in life.
Let us take the time to stop and be grateful and focus on serving as we move forward, my friend.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
