Let us take time to be still and listen to what the Spirit is telling us to do for ourselves before we can truly be of service to others

Excuses! Excuses!

This morning Kundtz speaks about how the excuses for not taking the time for stopovers are endless. The writer and poet, Alexander Pope is quoted as saying, “An excuse is worse and more terrible than a lie; for an excuse is a lie guarded." Stopovers are critical to our productivity and as Kundtz says, “Anyone who incorporates Stopovers into his or her life has given priority to life as a spiritual adventure.” Let us not allow fear of ourselves and what we may discover or allow to uncover to hold us back. As we are informed in today’s message, stopovers are an act of love to ourselves that will also benefit others, for our souls and spirits will permeate what we have allowed for ourselves. Seeking peace, healing, and fulfillment can be contagious.

Galatians 5:22-23 informs us, “The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against such things.”

‭‭If through a quick inventory of ourselves we hesitate about how we feel with any of those descriptors, we need to consider a stopover sooner rather than later.

Small Straw Scripture: John 1:3-5

Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.

Nothing that we are, do, and become are possible without the will of our Father, and there is nothing that can overcome us for He is the way, the Light that overshadows anything that works to dim who we are and our purpose.

Youversion Verse of the Day: Matthew 6:34

“So do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring worries of its own. Today's trouble is enough for today.”

Let us stay focused on this day and the works to be done and possibilities to come in it.

Let us take time to be still and listen to what the Spirit is telling us to do for ourselves before we can truly be of service to others, my friend.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
