Let us walk without worry, plan without procrastination, and trust without trepidation in our Father

Precious Moments

The writer of today’s devotional poses a question: “Why spend that precious time telling God all your worries— things He already knows? Instead give Him minutes of silence and moments of praise, and allow His wisdom to penetrate your heart and direct everything that concerns you.” Why do we waste time with worrying? The answer is because we are of flesh, we are independent, and attempt to be in control of everything in our lives, forgetting God is the head of our life. When we have tough times at work, we look forward to coming home to our families, where smiles and warm embraces greet us. Therefore, when we have troubles and begin to worry, let us turn to our Father who welcomes us with open arms of safety and direction. Let us spend less time worrying and more time in Christ, knowing He will always be able make wrongs right and lead us to figure things out.

Colossians 1:27 says, “..to whom God willed to make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.” Christ dwells within us, providing hope, guidance, and abundance for us, not worry, struggle and suffering.

Small Straws Scripture: Proverbs 21:5

The plans of the diligent lead to profit as surely as haste leads to poverty. Even as we trust and walk with Christ, if we fail to plan, we plan to fail. Let us be planners and not procrastinators, reacting in haste instead of preparing and setting up our goals and pace.

Youversion Verse of the Day: Matthew 5:16

Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

May we work to exude God’s goodness for other to want to choose to live with and for Him, too.

Let us walk without worry, plan without procrastination, and trust without trepidation in our Father, my friend.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
